West Coast Update

Happy 2007 from Portland, OR. Preparing to depart for San Francisco and wing my way across the Pacific en route to Sydney 14+ hours and then a quick 2 hour "commuter flight" North to Brisbane.

Have had a great time here - finishing up with a Trail Blazers vs. Celtics game before I leave. Awoke last night to fire in hotel kitchen and ended up evacuated to the street for an hour+. Felt like I was on a NEH Amb call!! Wx here has been dry and in the 40's so can't complain about the rain.
